Going South

There comes a time each year when I realize that there are fewer weeks left on the calendar than I have in my vacation queue. After double-checking that Daddy Thomson still doesn’t permit vacation day carryover (nope, maybe when Reuters takes over), I book some tickets to Costa Rica — for some R&R and to see the in-laws (who obviously have little interest in traveling north this time of year).

This is a long way of saying that I’ll be off for the next two weeks, with very limited access to email or voicemail. My colleagues will keep PE Week Wire going next week, and will post here periodically. Look forward to getting back in the flow on December 29, when I should be tanned, rested and ready…
