Law firm Goodwin has added Lauren King as a partner to its private investment funds practice. King will be based in the firm’s New York office.
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global law firm Goodwin announced today that Lauren King has joined its Private Investment Funds practice as a partner in the New York office.
King focuses on the organization and operation of private investment funds. She represents a wide variety of funds with extensive cross-border components, including secondary, buyout, real estate, special-opportunity, hybrid, credit and venture capital funds. King also advises private asset managers on the full spectrum of corporate matters, including governance, upper-tier structuring, succession planning, marketing and limited-partner transfers. Additionally, she represents secondary investors in connection with general partner-led restructurings and other secondary transactions. King has significant private equity and joint venture transactional experience.

King received a J.D. from New York University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College. She is admitted to practice in New York.
