Global law firm Goodwin announced today the addition of Joshua Ratner as partner in the firm’s Private Equity practice, resident in the New York office.

Ratner focuses on leveraged buyouts, dispositions, joint ventures, growth equity investments, and other equity and debt financings. He has extensive experience advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of transactions. Prior to joining Goodwin, he served as managing director and general counsel at a leading alternative investment firm, where he was responsible for all business and legal affairs for the firm’s private equity platform. Ratner also served on the board of directors of each of the firm’s portfolio companies and managed each investment from inception to exit.
