GPB Capital Holdings has hired Scott Naugle as chief financial officer of the firm’s automotive retail group. Naugle is responsible for financial oversight of the fund’s dealership investments, including financial reporting, acquisition due diligence, treasury, risk management, procurement, internal audit and profit optimization. Prior to GPB, Naugle worked as director of corporate finance and accounting at DCH Automotive Group.

GPB Capital Holdings (GPB), a New York-based private equity firm with an exclusive focus on acquiring middle-market, income-producing portfolio companies, announced today the appointment of Scott Naugle as Chief Financial Officer of the firm’s automotive retail group. In this role, Naugle is responsible for the financial oversight of the fund’s dealership investments, including financial reporting, acquisition due diligence, treasury, risk management, procurement, internal audit, and profit optimization.
Naugle brings more than 20 years of accounting and corporate finance experience to GPB. Prior to joining GPB, Naugle served as Director of Corporate Finance and Accounting at DCH Automotive Group where he successfully led the due diligence team in the acquisition of two large dealerships with revenues exceeding $200 million annually. Mr. Naugle also spent 20 years at Holman Automotive Group, Inc. where he served as Financial Officer and Treasurer.

Mr. Naugle received his in B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, at Rutgers University. He is also a member of NJSCPA, AICPA, the Philadelphia Treasurers Club and the Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
