Gallatin Point Capital has committed about $200 million to Hunt Companies‘ financial services and asset management businesses. Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP provided legal counsel to Hunt on the transaction while Goodwin Procter LLP served as legal counsel to GPC.
EL PASO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hunt Companies, Inc. (Hunt) today announced the closing of an approximately $200 million committed minority equity investment into certain of its financial services and asset management lines of business by affiliates of Gallatin Point Capital LLC (GPC). No other terms of the transaction were disclosed.
GPC, a private investment firm with a focus on investments in financial institutions, services and assets, brings to Hunt a strategic partnership for growth and expansion of certain of Hunt’s existing financial services and asset management lines of business.
