Milwaukee-based Hammes Partners has raised $430 million for its second healthcare real estate private equity fund, beating its $300 million target, the firm announced today.
The hard cap was $450 million, said a source at the firm.
The limited partners of Hammes Partners II LP includes endowments, foundations, pension funds, insurance companies, fund of funds and family offices.
This past February, Hammes raised $285.2 million for Hammes Partners II in its first close. The fund launched a year earlier, according to an SEC Form D filing. Probitas Funds Group was named as a placement agent in the document.
Hammes went to market with its initial fund in 2001, the year the firm was founded. No financial terms were disclosed nor was performance information available.
Hammes Partners is an affiliate of Hammes Company Healthcare, a national healthcare facility developer.
