Harris Williams Announces Advisory Role in Sale of The Mill to Barclays

Harris Williams, the London-based middle market investment bank, announced today that it advised the visual effects company The Mill on its GBP119 million sale to Barclays Private Equity. The Mill, whose clients include brands like Nike, as well as ad agencies such as AMV BBDO and Ogilvy, was acquired from the Carlyle Group, which purchased the company in February 2007.

Ltd, a global middle market investment bank, is pleased to announce the sale of The Mill, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, to Barclays Private Equity.  The transaction closed on April 18, 2011 and was led by Thierry Monjauze, Red Norrie, Francois Morin and Eric Logue of the firm’s London office.
