Hawkins Joins Treadstone

Matthew Hawkins has joined Treadstone Partners as a senior director. He previously was with EFO Holdings.




Treadstone Partners, LLC, announced today that Matthew K. Hawkins has joined the firm as a senior director. His responsibilities will include origination, formation and execution of transactions for the company.


“Matt is a great addition to our team,” said Phil Dixon, president of Treadstone Partners.  “He brings a unique background of operational and management skills reinforced by an array of contacts in the private equity arena.  We are looking forward to his leadership and the opportunities for growth that he will bring to Treadstone.”


Prior to joining Treadstone Partners, Hawkins was associated with EFO Holdings, L.P., a Dallas-based family investment firm. He will continue to maintain an affiliation with EFO.  Previously, Hawkins was a director with Hull and Associates, a regional turnaround management firm.


Hawkins is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration.  He is actively involved in the Cistercian Preparatory Alumni Association, part of the corporate mentor program at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business as well as Big Brothers/Big Sisters of North Texas.
