Heidi Roizen joins Draper Fisher Jurvetson as Venture Partner

Menlo Park, CA, February 1, 2012 – Global venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) announced today that Silicon Valley veteran Heidi Roizen has joined the firm as a venture partner. Ms. Roizen will work closely with DFJ’s portfolio companies providing strategic advice and will help identify new investment opportunities.

Ms. Roizen has spent her career in the Silicon Valley ecosystem. She co-founded and was CEO of T/Maker Company (acquired by Deluxe Corporation), was Vice President of World Wide Developer Relations for Apple Computer, and a Managing Director of Mobius Venture Capital, where she served on the boards of over twenty private and public companies. She also served on the board of Great Plains Software (was NASDAQ:GPSI) from 1997 until its acquisition by Microsoft in 2001 and is currently on the board of TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) and Prysm. Ms. Roizen has an MBA and bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and now serves on the Stanford faculty teaching entrepreneurship.
