Hidden Harbor Capital Partners has named Adam Hanselman as a vice president in its portfolio operations group. Also, the lower-middle market private equity firm has appointed Daniel Matam as an associate on the investment team. Prior to joining Hidden Harbor, Hanselman was a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group while Matam was an associate at Atlantic Street Capital.
BOCA RATON – April 29, 2019 – Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (“Hidden Harbor”), an operationally focused private equity firm specializing in control investments in lower middle market companies, announced today that it has hired Adam Hanselman as a Vice President in its Portfolio Operations Group and Daniel Matam as an Associate on the investment team. In his role, Adam will focus on driving the firm’s Value Creation Blueprint process and implementing Standard Operating Procedures at Hidden Harbor’s portfolio companies. As an Associate, Daniel Matam will support the investment team in sourcing and closing new investments, conducting due diligence, and assisting the Value Creation Blueprint process at the portfolio companies.

Previously, Adam was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group where he advised fortune 500 companies and private equity firms on growth strategy, customer segmentation, pricing, supply chain, operational improvement, M&A planning and due diligence. Prior to the Boston Consulting Group, Adam was an investment banker with Simmons Energy where he advised oil & gas clients on M&A, capital raises, and restructurings. Before attending graduate school, Adam was part of the Operations Strategy & Execution team at Capital One.
Before joining Hidden Harbor, Daniel was an Associate at Atlantic Street Capital, where he performed due diligence and analyzed investment opportunities across a wide variety of industries. Prior to that he served as an investment banking analyst with Moelis & Company and Citigroup in New York.
Adam holds a B.A. in Economics, and a minor in Mathematics, from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Daniel received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
