Highview Capital promotes Bunce to VP

Highview Capital, a Los Angeles-based middle-market private equity firm, has promoted Victor Bunce to vice president. Also, the firm hired Krysty Penwell and Scott Kingsley as vice presidents and Christian Boorom as an associate.

Bunce joined Highview in July 2020 and works across a variety of existing portfolio companies including GS Foods, Randall Foods and Watterson. Bunce also currently serves on the board of directors of Watterson. Prior to joining Highview, he worked at Harris Williams, a leading middle market investment bank providing mergers & acquisitions advisory services in the consumer sector.

Bunce is based in Los Angeles and graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a M.A. in financee and a B.A. in economics.

Penwell joins from CenterOak Partners, a private equity fund focused on investments in industrial growth, consumer, and business services. She was previously at Cambridge Associates, an investment portfolio management and advisory services firm. She is based in Dallas and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in applied mathematics and economics. ​

Kingsley joins from Great River Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on industrial technology and services companies. He was previously at JMC Capital Partners, a private equity fund investing in industrial products and industrial technology-focused companies.

He is based in Boston and graduated from The College of Holy Cross with a B.A. in political science.

Boorom is an associate on Highview’s investment team. He is focused on all aspects of the investment process including evaluation, diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities. Boorom joins the firm from L.E.K. Consulting, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors, including consumer, industrials, and healthcare. He was also previously at Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on strategy for financial institutions.

He is based in Los Angeles and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. in accounting.

Since 2017, Highview has deployed approximately $500 million of equity capital across more than 30 deals in industries such as business services, manufacturing, and distribution.
