Hooper named CEO of Tri-Tex

Tri-Tex said March 20 that Richard Hooper was named CEO of the company. Hooper most recently served as CEO of SummitReheis. Hooper assumes the role from Natalie Laham, who will remain with the company as a minority shareholder and member of the Board of Directors.

EUSTACHE, Quebec–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tri-Tex, a leading producer of adhesives, sealants, surfactants and textile and paper chemicals, announced today that Richard Hooper has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Hooper is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of specialty chemical industry experience having most recently served as CEO of SummitReheis, a privately-held global specialty chemical company. Mr. Hooper assumes the role from Natalie Laham, who will remain with the company as a minority shareholder and member of the Board of Directors.

Tri-Tex is a portfolio company of SK Capital. The private investment firm partnered with Tri-Tex management to recapitalize the company in June 2017.
