Horizon Technology Backs StreamBase

Horizon Technology Finance Corp. has provided  a $1.5 million venture loan to StreamBase Systems Inc., a provider of real-time analytics technology. The money will be used for expansion.


Horizon Technology Finance Corporation (Nasdaq: HRZN) (“Horizon”), a leading specialty finance company that provides secured loans to venture capital and private equity backed development-stage companies in the technology, life sciences, healthcare information and services, and clean-tech industries, today announced that it has closed a $1.5 million venture loan to StreamBase Systems, Inc. (“StreamBase”), a leader in high-performance Complex Event Processing (CEP). The funds will be used to support the growth and expansion of the StreamBase business.
