Hudson Joins Grant Thornton’s PE Team

Kevin Hudson has joined Grant Thornton LLP as its national private equity services managing director. Hudson’s experience includes work with McGladrey, Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche.

Hudson joins Grant Thornton LLP as Leader of Private Equity Practice
NEW YORK, June 7, 2012 — Kevin Hudson, 42, has joined Grant Thornton LLP as the firm’s National Private Equity Services Managing Director. In this role, Hudson will develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy focused on working with private equity firms and their associated portfolio companies.

Most recently, Hudson served as a National Director with McGladrey’s Private Equity Services Group and was their Regional Private Equity Leader for the Northeast and Southeast regions.
He has more than 19 years of professional experience in a variety of roles with leading national accounting firms, including Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche as well as Fortune 500 companies.
Hudson holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.
