Humanetics Innovative Receives Growth Financing from Maranon Capital

Maranon Capital has provided growth financing to Humanetics Innovative Solutions, which is backed by Wynnchurch Capital. The financing consisted of a senior revolving credit facility, term loan plus mezzanine debt. Plymouth, Mich.-based Humanetics makes and designs sophisticated crash test dummies.


Maranon Capital, L.P. announced today that it provided growth financing to Humanetics Innovative Solutions, Inc., a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, Ltd. Maranon’s one-stop financing consisted of a senior revolving credit facility and term loan as well as mezzanine debt.

With headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan, and subsidiaries throughout the world, Humanetics is the global leader in the design and manufacture of sophisticated crash test dummies as well as the development of finite element software models used in computerized crash test simulations. Humanetics also provides technical support and laboratory services to clients including virtually every major automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier. Other important users of Humanetics’ products and services include military, government, aerospace, insurance and research institute clients.
