Ian Davis has joined Apax Partners as a senior advisor. He currently is a senior partner with McKinsey & Co., where he previously was a worldwide managing director. He also is a non-executive director of BP PLC.

Apax Partners, one of the world’s leading private equity investment groups, today announces the appointment of Ian Davis as Senior Adviser.
Ian was formerly Worldwide Managing Director of McKinsey & Company where he is now a Senior Partner. He will be retiring from McKinsey in July this year. He is also a non-executive Director of BP plc.
In the newly-created role as Senior Adviser at Apax Partners, Ian will be based in Apax’s London office advising CEO Martin Halusa on the firm’s long-term international growth strategy.
