The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm, has hired Ian Jackson as a director at Carlyle Strategic Partners, its global distressed and corporate opportunities arm.
Jackson has joined from Deutsche Bank, where he was a senior analyst in the European Distressed Products Group. He is based in London.
Carlyle Strategic Partners invests in debt and equity of financially distressed companies, from its US$1.35bn Carlyle Strategic Partners II fund.
