iCrossing Inc., a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based digital marketing company, has acquired German competitor 3GNet. No financial terms were disclosed. iCrossing has raised around $141 million in total VC funding, from firms like Goldman Sachs, Oak Investment Partners, RRE Ventures and StarVest Partners.
Digital marketing company iCrossing has acquired 3GNet, one of Germany's longest-established digital marketing agencies.
The German agency specialises in natural and paid search marketing, and provides affiliate marketing services to brands including eBay and O2 Germany.
The deal, which will in due course see 3GNet becoming iCrossing Germany, is iCrossing's first acquisition in mainland Europe. It comes just over a year after it bought Spannerworks, now iCrossing UK.
“Germany is a crucial market for the digital marketing sector, and the acquisition of 3GNet represents the first stage of our European expansion,” said iCrossing UK's CEO, Arjo Ghosh.
“We will be working closely with 3GNet to build its service offering and accelerate the growth of iCrossing into Europe.”
iCrossing now employs 620 staff across 15 offices. The terms of the 3GNet deal have not been disclosed.
