PRESS RELEASE

iNovia Capital, a manager of seed and early stage venture capital funds, which invest in sectors such as software, semiconductors, medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, cleantech and advanced technologies, today announced that it has made a $2 million investment in Montreal-based company Standout Jobs, a startup in the recruiting and online job market space.

Standout Jobs was founded in February 2007 by Ben Yoskovitz, Fred Ngo and Austin Hill to power companies' online recruiting efforts and help them stand out from the crowd. The company's RECEPTION(TM) product brings the latest Web consumer experiences – easy, personal and dynamic – to the recruiting process. At the heart of RECEPTION is a do-it-yourself interactive career site that leverages social media tools and principles, including video, blogging and widgets, to showcase a company's culture and team. The goal is to help companies develop and promote their employment brand, in order to find and hire the best talent. RECEPTION also includes candidate relationship management tools enabling HR managers to identify, interact with and track candidates effectively.

“We believe in the team and Standout Jobs' market potential because they are changing the way companies recruits great employees,” said John Elton, Partner with iNovia Capital. “The recruitment sector represents about one-fourth of all Internet advertising, yet many companies remain dissatisfied with the results of their career site and job board spending. Standout Jobs helps companies employ unique strategies and online tools to establish their employer brand and develop relationships with potential hires.”

Standout Jobs is launching RECEPTION today at DEMO 08, the conference where the newest and best products in digital technology debut. Initial customers include more than 20 firms representing some of North America's most exciting companies, including b5media, Freshbooks, Jangl, Mobivox, Socialight, and Xobni. Standout Jobs' DEMO presentation can be viewed live at 9:44 AM (PST) on January 30 at http://www.demo.com .

“We're delighted that iNovia Capital shares our belief in the power of new technologies to bridge the gap between great companies and great job candidates,” said Benjamin Yoskovitz, CEO of Standout Jobs. “This investment will enable us to further develop and market our interactive career site technology to small and medium sized companies.”

RECEPTION is a software-as-a-service solution that can be integrated into existing sites or operated as a stand-alone Web site to power companies' recruiting efforts. RECEPTION is offered with a 90-day free trial, allowing companies to begin interacting with candidates at no cost. Following the trial period, RECEPTION is available on a monthly subscription basis.
