Insight Venture Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm, has closed its oversubscribed tenth fund at $6.3 billion.

In 2015, Insight’s previous fund closed at about $5 billion, generating a net IRR of 17.4 percent and an investment multiple of 1.3x, as of September 30, 2017, according to data provided by California Public Employees’ Retirement System.
Founded in 1995, Insight has more than 150 portfolio companies and has participated in more than 40 IPOs. Among its portfolio companies that have gone public are Pluralsight, Smartsheet and Delivery Hero.
According to Insight, with the closing of Fund X, the firm has a total of over $23 billion under management.
