Private equity firms are increasingly turning to risk diversification strategies in the healthcare sector amid rising regulatory challenges, potentially opening the door to more intra-European investments, industry experts told PE Hub.

The rationale for companies to internationalize in healthcare services has changed, said Rainer Hepberger, managing director in the investment bank Houlihan Lokey’s healthcare group.
