Intune Scores Second Round

Intune Networks, a Dublin-based provider of network equipment for telecommunications and enterprise networks has raised $17.75 million in second-round funding. Backers include Amadeus Capital Partners, Balderton Capital and Spark Capital. The company was formed in 1999, and previously raised nearly $4 million from firms like 3i Group, ICC Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland. 3i was bought out last year, while ICC and Enterprise Island remain small shareholders.
