Intune Scores Second Round

Intune Networks, a Dublin-based provider of network equipment for telecommunications and enterprise networks has raised $17.75 million in second-round funding. Backers include Amadeus Capital Partners, Balderton Capital and Spark Capital. The company was formed in 1999, and previously raised nearly $4 million from firms like 3i Group, ICC Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland. 3i was bought out last year, while ICC and Enterprise Island remain small shareholders. None of them participated on the new round.
