Middle-market private equity firm Irving Place Capital has named Jeffrey Wood as a senior ddvisor for the firm’s industrial practice. Wood was formerly President of Airfoil Technologies, an aircraft engine component manufacturer. He has also held various positions at Pratt & Whitney, Interturbine, and General Electric. Irving Place Capital is based in New York.

Irving Place Capital, a middle market private equity firm, today announced that it has appointed Jeffrey D. Wood as a Senior Advisor for the firm’s industrial practice. Mr. Wood will work closely with the principals of Irving Place Capital to identify, evaluate, and pursue new investments.
Mr. Wood was formerly President of Airfoil Technologies International (“ATI”), a global market leader in aircraft engine component manufacturing, overhaul, repair, and service. During his ten-year tenure as President of ATI, Mr. Wood drove sales from $50 million to $300 million, positioned the company as a leader in the engine components business, and expanded its presence throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Mr. Wood has 20 years of experience in the aerospace sector, having worked at Pratt & Whitney, Interturbine, and General Electric.
