J.C. Flowers hires former CD&R executive Rahe as managing director

J.C. Flowers & Co. has hired former Clayton Dubilier & Rice managing director Eric Rahe. Rahe joins the firm as a managing director in New York. He led the financial services practice at CD&R, and was previously a senior investment professional at hedge fund SAB Capital, and before that a partner at Capital Z Partner.

J.C. Flowers & Co., a private investment firm dedicated to investing globally in the financial services industry, today announced that Eric Rahe has joined the firm as a Managing Director in New York.

Mr. Rahe has nearly 20 years of experience investing in the financial services industry. Since 2008, he has been a Managing Director at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, where he established and led the firm’s financial services practice. Previously, Mr. Rahe was a senior investment professional at the hedge fund SAB Capital, and before that a Partner at Capital Z Partners, the financial services focused private equity firm. He started his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He holds an A.B., magna cum laude, in Economics from Harvard College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
