Jack Norris Joins SK Capital

Jack Norris has joined SK Capital Partners as a managing director. He previously was a principal with Arsenal Capital Partners.

SK Capital Partners, a transformational private investment firm, today announced that it has further strengthened its investment team with the appointment of Jack Norris as a Managing Director.

The announcement of Mr. Norris’ hiring follows the announcement last week of SK Capital’s agreement to acquire Solutia’s integrated nylon business, a leading supplier and manufacturer of nylon chemicals, plastics and fibers.  The transaction is expected to close on April 30 or soon thereafter.

Prior to joining SK Capital, Mr. Norris was a Principal at Arsenal Capital Partners focusing on specialty chemicals, materials and aerospace/defense investments.  Before joining Arsenal, he was an investment professional at Berkshire Partners and an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Goldman, Sachs & Co.  Mr. Norris graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
