James Rothschild has joined Monument Capital Group as a vice president and partner, working out of both Washington DC and the firm’s new London office. He previously was with Hargreave-Hale.
James Rothschild has been appointed Vice President and Partner of the Washington DC based private investment and advisory firm, Monument Capital Group LLC (www.monumentcapitalgroup.com).
Monument Capital Group LLC also announced the opening of its office in central London. The London base will allow the group to focus on expanding its European activities. The London office will complement existing operations in New Delhi, India and Istanbul, Turkey. Mr. Rothschild will operate between London and Washington, DC.

Mr. Rothschild began his career at NM Rothschild and Sons in London, working in both the risk management and private banking divisions. He later spent time at JNR UK, a boutique investment bank specializing in emerging markets. Subsequently, Mr. Rothschild joined Hargreave-Hale, a London-based fund manager.
Monument Capital Group LLC focuses its investments and advisory expertise on the homeland security and defense sector. MCG was cofounded by Douglas B. Baker, a former Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Robert J. Dunn, a former Principal and investor with the Carlyle Group, where he was a member of the buyout team.
