Hamilton Lane is searching for an associate or senior associate on its secondary team in Philadelpha. The hire will assume a lead role in the modeling and analysis of private equity secondary transactions. Duties include analyzing private equity companies and funds using leveraged buyout models, constructing comparable company analyses and developing multiple projection scenarios through company and industry research. A minimum of four to seven years of relevant experience is required. Prior private equity-related investment experience strongly preferred.

Fortress Investment Group is hiring a financial analyst on its energy team in New York. The analyst will perform ad hoc financial forecasting, conduct financial and business diligence, evaluate new product developments and acquisitions, and analyze the financial impact of equity raises, re-financings and debt offerings. Candidates should have at least two years of experience as an analyst at a top investment bank or management consulting firm in the energy, power & utilities, transportation, M&A or leveraged finance industries.

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board is hiring an associate in its direct private equity group in London. The associate will build financial models to analyze private equity transactions, help perform due diligence on opportunities, and perform valuation analysis. Duties also include preparing investment committee materials, supporting team members in transaction structuring and legal documentation work, and monitoring ongoing investments. Candidates should have two to four years of related work experience in investment banking, private equity, transactional services (accounting) or management consulting backgrounds.

The Carlyle Group is seeking an analyst for its Beijing office. The hire will support deal team members on market and industry research and assist in deal transaction and portfolio company management. The analyst will research various industries to assess market situations and opportunities as well as competitive advantages of potential and existing investment. He or she will also assist in financial analysis, valuations, financial modeling, analytical and market research. The hire should have an undergraduate degree from a top university in China.

Coller Capital, which invests in the private equity secondary market, is hiring a senior associate in both its New York and London offices. The associates will contribute to all aspects of the deal process with responsibility for all primary quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio companies and funds. Responsibilities conducting due diligence and assisting with deal execution and transaction management, participating in the development of appropriate deal structures, preparing return forecasts, and keeping up-to-date on portfolio performance. Interested candidates should have four to six years of experience within a relevant industry.

Consulting firm SSA & Co is looking for private equity analysts in New York and Philadelphia. The analysts will support client teams by conducting evaluation, valuation and due diligence of private equity investment opportunities across multiple industries. Duties include analyzing a company’s financials, market position and competitive landscape and creating detailed financial and valuation models to support the justification of investments or acquisitions. Candidates should have two to three years of financial or operational analysis experience in M&A situations.

StepStone Group is hiring one or two associates for its research team in San Diego. The role is a two to three year position, with long-term opportunity to grow within the firm for outstanding candidates. The hire will be responsible for identifying and evaluating private equity investment opportunities and performing due diligence on primary funds and select secondaries and co-investments. The position will focus on two of the following verticals: distressed/restructuring, middle market buyouts, small market buyouts, and venture capital/growth equity. The associate should have a strong understanding of corporate finance and a demonstrable interest in the private markets. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and two to five years of private equity, investment banking, consulting, credit or other relevant experience.
