Provident Global Capital is interviewing for a managing partner. The hire will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality client relationships, as well as ensuring the delivery of quality financial planning advice and investment management. In addition to business development and client service, he or she will manage a team of professional staff. No relocation is necessary as the position can be done remotely. Applicants should have a minimum of seven to nine years experience in the investment industry.

Wellington Management Company is looking to hire a private equity principal. Duties include leading the execution, implementation and evolution of strategy for the firm’s global private equity investments in addition to building and developing the team. He or she will play a critical role in ensuring that the private equity group has the resources, fiduciary oversight, infrastructure and processes to meet client needs. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in private markets investment or in a management role, preferably at a private equity firm. The job is in Boston.

BlackRock is recruiting for a private funds attorney. The hire will be responsible for providing legal advice and consultation, focusing on a variety of legal issues relating to alternative investment funds. Also, he or she will assist in coordinating projects and managing business relationships. Applicants should have a J.D. from a nationally-recognized law school and five to seven years’ experience as a lawyer in a major law firm or the legal department of an alternative investment fund management firm or the alternative investment division at an investment bank. The job is based in San Francisco.

Two Sigma is seeking a senior compliance officer of private equity. Duties include drafting and updating compliance policies and testing procedures; liaising with business partners as well as legal and outside consultants to identify and mitigate compliance risks; and, analyzing the effect of new business initiatives and investment products on the compliance program. Candidates should have eight years of experience as a compliance professional.

LP Capital Advisors is currently seeking an associate at its Boston office. The hire will provide support for detailed due diligence on private equity fund, direct investment, co-investment and secondary investment opportunities, including quantitative and qualitative performance analysis. Also, he or she will perform extensive financial analysis and modeling in a variety of private equity-related areas, such as asset allocation, investment pacing, risk management and valuation. Applicants should have three to five years of work experience at an investment bank, investment management or finance-oriented consulting or advisory firm.
