Jobs of the week: Blackstone’s GSO Capital, BlackRock and Goldman Sachs are hiring

GSO Capital Partners, Blackstone‘s credit unit, is seeking a chief compliance officer and internal legal counsel to work at the firm’s Dublin office. Responsibilities include managing corporate projects relating to the firm, including fund formation (in particular CLOs and QIAIFs) and new business initiatives. The successful hire should be a UK/Irish qualified lawyer with at least five years PQE in a compliance or legal role, preferably at an international law firm with a transactional or finance background or in a private equity, hedge fund or another financial institution environment.

Ares Management is recruiting for a vice president of real estate strategy and fund management. The hire will collaborate with acquisitions team, portfolio managers and accountants to model portfolio and real estate group’s cash flow waterfalls and projections.The candidate should have five to seven years of experience and strong analytical skills. The position is based in New York.

BlackRock is looking to hire a vice president of alternative fund administration. The candidate will provide ongoing operational support for complex products or investment types. Duties include reconciling data received from third parties and coordinating input of data into internal systems. Applicants should have seven to 10 years’ experience in operations, accounting and/or administration with a particular focus on alternative investment funds. The position is based in Delaware.

New York City-based private equity fund KBL Healthcare Ventures is seeking to add a principal to its team. Candidate must have at least seven years of experience investing in small and middle market firms. Must have experience with and knowledge of healthcare investing. Goldman Sachs Asset Management is searching for an experienced analyst or associate for its direct alternatives team. The hire will take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly investor reporting and coordinate portfolio review presentations for investor meeting. UBS is looking to hire a private equity reporting analyst. The candidate will provide assistance in the daily operational accounting activities for the private equity legacy business. Job responsibilities include preparing monthly head office reporting for private equity entities. A CPA or MBA degree is a plus.
