Jobs of the week: Cambridge, Jefferies, PIMCO and 3P Partners are hiring

Cambridge Associates is currently seeking a managing investment director of pension investments. The hire will lead teams in creating and developing diversified portfolios to enable increased returns and lower surplus volatility consistent with time horizon, risk tolerance and liquidity needs of clients. Also, he or she will design and implement custom de-risking glide paths for plans and conduct analyses, prepare materials and direct clients on investment and financial issues. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years’ investment experience. An MBA or CFA is strongly preferred. The job is in the greater Boston area.

Jefferies is interviewing for a vice president of industrials investment banking. The hire will lead the execution of M&A, restructuring and recapitalization transactions as well as equity and debt financings. Also, he or she will supervise and direct junior bankers in preparing pitch books and live deal materials including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses. Candidates should have an MBA and three plus years of investment banking experience as an associate or an undergraduate degree and five plus years of investment banking experience. The position is in the greater New York City area.

3P Partners is seeking a food and agribusiness private equity associate.  The successful candidate will participate in the presentation of data to influence the decision-making process of the firm’s leadership and investors. Also, he or she will conduct extensive financial modeling, including sensitivity analysis, to support potential investment opportunities and provide initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities for the firm as well as tracking of the firm’s investment pipeline.

PIMCO is looking to hire a corporate distressed credit analyst for its New York team. Responsibilities include researching and evaluating potential debt and equity corporate investments in the U.S., which include direct lending opportunities.Also, he or she will assist with analyzing and executing investment opportunities, including restructurings. Applicants should have two to five years of experience and an impeccable reputation from a top corporate distressed research group, corporate distressed/credit-oriented proprietary investment group, restructuring advisor or from a leveraged finance/high yield group at an investment bank.

Blackstone is interviewing for a private equity finance operations analyst. The hire will develop overarching, efficient operating procedures for all PE funds. Duties include managing the closing funds flow process and overseeing the creation and maintenance of fund and investment structure charts. The position is in New York.
