Jobs of the week: CIM Group, Carlyle, SEI and Montgomery County are hiring

The CIM Group is interviewing for a vice president of investor relations for its Los Angeles office. The hire will form, maintain and enhance relationships with potential and existing investors. He or she will raise capital for all funds and strategies. They will also be responsible for organizing roadshows, logistics and meetings from inception to completion covering the entire existing and potential institutional investor base. Applicants should have between between 5 and 15 years’ experience in private equity institutional funds.

World Class Capital Group is recruiting for a vice president of corporate private equity. The hire will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing, structuring, performing due diligence, negotiating and closing new private equity investment opportunities, as well as working with existing portfolio companies to maximize performance. Applicants should have five to seven years of relevant work experience in private equity, direct investment or a similar field with completed full deal cycle and track record. The position is in the Greater New York City area.

Montgomery County Government is seeking a senior investment officer. Duties include analyzing economic conditions and investment markets to evaluate the effectiveness of the board’s current asset allocation strategy, recommending changes to policies, guidelines and/or programs. Candidates should have seven years of professional experience. Annual salary is $115,939 to $167,033. The job is in Rockville, Maryland.

SEI Investments is on the hunt for a private equity manager. He or she will be responsible for the successful and accurate completion of the accounting, administration and investor servicing requirements for various alternative products and structures for assigned funds. This individual must also strictly adhere to established departmental policies and procedures required to service alternative funds. Applicants should have a minimum of five years experience in financial services operations. Hedge fund/private equity experience is a plus. The position is in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

The Carlyle Group is seeking a two-year-associate for its New York City team. The hire will support the U.S. collateralized loan obligations front office team regarding investor relations, cash flow modelling and reporting for U.S. CLOs.  This position will maintain and update marketing materials, respond to investor information requests, perform cash flow modeling, prepare internal portfolio management reports and review trustee reports of Carlyle-managed CLOs.  Candidates should have prior experience with CLO structures and modelling.

Kipling Capital is looking to hire a private equity marketing associate. The successful candidate will participate with the current owner and principals in all aspects of the firm’s deal origination and marketing process including deal identification, contract negotiation, due diligence and review, investment product branding, marketing plan development and direct marketing to high-net worth investors and investment advisors. Candidates should have a minimum of five to 10 years of relevant experience in business development and marketing in the financial services sector. The position is in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
