Jobs of the week: Citi, Macquarie, Blackrock and Harren Equity are hiring

Harren Equity Partners is seeking a vice president for its investment team. Duties include sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities; providing valuation and cash flow modeling; leading due diligence and transaction structuring and execution; and negotiating financing and legal documents. This is a partner-track position. Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in private equity, investment banking or top-tier strategy or operations consulting. Citi is interviewing for a vice president of private equity funds. The hire will lead a team responsible for transaction processing, proper application of accounting principles to complex transactions and financial reporting for private equity fund clients. He or she should have seven to 10 years plus of experience in accounting, with a focus on alternative investments funds. Private equity experience is a plus. The job is based in New York City.

Blackrock is recruiting for a corporate strategy associate in its Hong Kong office. The hire will drive the analytics for business-specific strategy projects and lead the research that informs strategy development. Also, he or she will structure and lead quantitative analyses and financial modeling. Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in the Asia Pacific region.

Macquarie Group is looking to add an M&A attorney for its New York team. The hire will be part of the Macquarie Capital legal team, which provides legal services and manages legal risk within Macquarie Capital. Applicants should have four to six years or private M&A legal experience with a large firm or financial institution. Also, he or she must be admitted to the New York bar.
