Jobs of the week: Duff & Phelps, StepStone, Privateer and Investure are hiring

Duff & Phelps is recruiting for a vice president of mergers and acquisitions at its Munich, Germany office. Responsibilities include working on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client pitches to transaction closings. Candidates should have the ability to market services both to internal partners and external clients, develop client network and support efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies. A minimum of five years of M&A experience at a regional investment bank or “reputable” boutique is required.

StepStone is seeking to hire a vice president of private equity business development. The hire will be responsible for developing and managing all new and existing relationships with European institutional investors. He or she will manage investor due diligence processes and lead equity-raising negotiations. An MBA or CFA is a plus. Privateer Holdings, a cannabis-focused private equity firm, is seeking a consumer PR manager for its New York office. The hire will develop and implement strategic and creative consumer PR programs for its portfolio companies that include Leafly and Marley Natural. Applicants should have three to five years in consumer PR for lifestyle and/or tech brands. .

Investure is currently looking to hire a private equity investment associate. He or she will report directly to a partner in the firm’s private equity group. Duties include analysis, underwriting and monitoring of private equity managers and direct opportunities in the buyout, venture capital, energy and real estate sectors. Also, the candidate will lead Investure’s monitoring and participation in the private equity secondary market. He or she should have seven plus years of professional work experience with exposure to private equity, real assets or a related field. An MBA and/or CFA is a plus.

Neuberger Berman is seeking to add a private equity senior associate to its team. He or she will conduct due diligence on primary fund investments, secondary fund investments, co-investment and private debt opportunities including industry and company research. Also, the associate will perform in-depth valuation analysis of private equity portfolios and private companies. Applicants should have four to six years experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting or investment management. An MBA is preferred.
