Goldpoint Partners is recruiting for two positions–a senior private equity accountant and a mezzanine senior private equity accountant. For the senior private equity accountant, the duties include daily recording of all financial transactions in Investran on a US GAAP basis for one or more private equity fund structures and related entities. Also, the hire should have a strong working knowledge of private equity fund of funds. For the mezzanine senior private equity accountant, the hire will perform accounting, reporting and operations tasks associated with a complex private equity fund structure investing primarily in mezzanine debt instruments. Mithril Capital is seeking to hire a controller and vice president of finance. The hire will be responsible for developing, updating and reviewing valuation models and metrics for portfolio investments in concert with the investment team. Interested applicants should have four to seven years of venture capital or private equity accounting experience working in a financial reporting or taxation-related role.

Jefferies is looking to add a compliance officer and vice president for its New York office. Duties include researching, analyzing and responding to regulatory inquiries as well as coordinating regulatory exams and delivery of requested items. He or she will also participate in or lead ad hoc regulatory projects. Financial services licenses are a plus.

Pathway Capital is recruiting for a private equity funds investment analyst. The hire will perform initial and in-depth quantitative and qualitative reviews of potential private equity fund investments and discuss/present findings with senior level professionals.
