HarbourVest Partners is hiring an associate for its direct co-investment group in London. The role is a two year position. The hire will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new private equity investment opportunities, performing due diligence on new investments, and generating financial models to illustrate the potential returns of an investment. He or she will be a critical contributor to valuation and structuring decisions. The candidate should have one to four years of work experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank, a consulting firm, or a private equity-related business. He or she must be fluent in English as well as a second European language (French is preferred).

Partners Group is seeking an investment analyst to support its private infrastructure investment team in New York. The analyst will take part in all aspects of control and control-oriented private equity investments across a range of transaction sizes with a broad focus on power, energy, infrastructure and renewables. Duties include performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investments, monitoring current investments, writing deal team investment recommendations, and performing tasks related to product reporting. One to two years of investment banking experience is desired.

AlpInvest, Carlyle’s private equity fund of funds, is looking for a pre-MBA associate on its U.S. funds team in New York. The associate will source and review of fund investment opportunities, track internal deal flow, participate in the fund due diligence and investment approval process, prepare due diligence request, and conduct general research on the private equity investment environment. The target candidate has two to four years of experience in investment, research, consulting or similar fields related to primary fund investing. Anteil Capital Partners, the new private equity business within Credit Suisse, is hiring an associate in New York.  The associate position is an M&A role and responsibilities include deal-related industry research, target due diligence, financial modeling and valuation, supporting term sheet negotiation points and portfolio management for existing investments.

Catalyst Investors is hiring a pre-MBA analyst to assist the investment team in New York. This position is suited to candidates seeking a hybrid experience of deal sourcing and transaction execution. Responsibilities include deal origination, investment screening and transaction execution. The analyst will also conduct market research and competitive analysis on technology-enabled industries, screen prospective investment opportunities, conduct financial and business due diligence, and develop financial models to analyze investment returns and perform valuation analyses. Catalyst makes growth equity investments in high-growth, lower middle market companies.

GIC is looking for an assistant vice president in its private credit group in London. The private credit group invests in large scale senior and subordinated credit in private equity sponsor deals. The hire will be involved in sourcing, evaluating and executing investments in senior and subordinated debt, as well as portfolio management. Candidates should have experience with the US LBO senior and subordinated debt markets. Three to six years of work experience at either an investment bank leveraged finance team, a specialist debt advisory firm, or a top-tier credit investment firm is preferred.
