S&P Capital IQ is searching for a team leader in the Private Equity & Advisory Data division. The person in this role will lead a team of junior and senior analysts focusing on clients in North America. The person in this role will help to influence private equity content used by customers of S&P Capital IQ. Responsibilities include team leadership, including assigning daily workload and ensuring on-time delivery of projects, as well as presenting ideas for overall department processes. Fortress Investment Group wants to hire a private equity analyst for its transportation fund. The analyst will help analyze and execute investment and asset management strategies, develop financial models and perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analyses and modeling and develop financial analysis, reports and presentations, among other things. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics, two years of experience as an analyst at a top investment bank, preferably in transportation, infrastructure, M&A or leveraged finance industries. Robin Judson Partners is seeking an associate in distressed private equity. The growing distressed investment team in New York focuses on both smaller illiquid names and compelling larger distressed investments. The associate must have previous distressed investment experience. Kamran Capital Group, a firm founded this year by Kamran Farid, co-founder of Edible Arrangements, is seeking to hire a director of finance, private equity investments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing the finance function within a growing organization. The candidate also will have exposure to sourcing, evaluating and completing direct investment opportunities in the small market private equity space.
