Jobs of the week: Wellington, Citi, High Road and OP&F are hiring

Wellington Management is interviewing for a private equity principal. The hire will be responsible for leading the execution, implementation and evolution of the strategy for Wellington’s private equity investments globally, as well as building and developing the team. Also, he or she will play a critical role in ensuring that the private equity group has the resources, fiduciary oversight, infrastructure and processes to meet the evolving needs of the firm’s clients. Applicants should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a private markets investment or management role, preferably at a private equity firm. An MBA or CFA is preferred. The job is in Boston.

Citigroup is seeking a vice president of private equity funds for its New York office. Duties include managing multiple fund relationships, such as scheduling and meeting all client deliverables; maintaining and managing client expectations; and, coordinating deliverables’ timelines with staff. Also he or she should demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting, specifically with respect to alternative investment funds, with a focus on private equity funds. Candidates should have seven to 10 plus years’ experience in accounting, with a focus on alternative investments funds. Private equity experience is a plus.

High Road Capital Partners is looking to add a private equity senior associate to its New York team. The successful candidate will work closely with the firm’s transaction teams to assist in the execution of platform and add-on acquisitions that meet their investment criteria. Also, he or she will be involved in portfolio company monitoring and financial analysis, as well as industry research for acquisitions and portfolio companies. An MBA is required; candidates should have two plus years’ experience in private equity, investment banking or transaction financing at the smaller end of middle market.

Law firm Goodwin Procter LLP is recruiting for a private equity senior associate for its New York office. Candidates must have experience both working in teams and in managing components of transactions independently, with specific experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, growth equity and venture capital transactions and private tender offers and exits. New York bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required. Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund is recruiting for a senior investment officer. The hire will provide oversight of external public markets’ managers, private markets’ direct lending managers, the OP&F cash management program and securities’ lending program.  Also, he or she will review external managers’ portfolios for compliance with OP&F guidelines and internally adopted investment strategies. Annual salary is $96,500 to $125,000. The position is in Columbus, Ohio.
