West Monroe Partners is hiring an M&A consulting manager in Los Angeles. The hire will identify key IT and business process issues and risks in the context of an investment thesis while evaluating potential investments for the firm’s private equity clients. Also, he or she will analyze each client’s specific investment thesis and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutions and strategies.

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is interviewing for an investment associate to join its Toronto office. The hire will develop and maintain reports required to monitor the performance of the long-term equities’ portfolio. Also, he or she will develop and maintain data for internal reporting and other summary materials on the LTE portfolio relating to ongoing asset management. Candidates should have two plus years of related work experience, ideally in private equity, investment banking, consulting or valuation firms.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an investment associate at its New York City office. The hire will monitor existing investments and develop analytical insights on the portfolio. Also, he or she will assess the performance of all managers and funds in addition to evaluating investment opportunities by sector, stage and geography. An MBA from a leading school or CFA is preferred.

Visium Asset Management is recruiting for two private equity associates to join its London office. Duties will include: conducting industry, company and product research and due diligence; developing and maintaining financial models and valuation analyses; and, preparing investment presentations and proposals. The ideal hire should have two to three years of investment banking, capital markets, private equity, management consulting and/or corporate development. He or she must have experience in the healthcare sector.

Emigrant Capital is looking to add a private equity associate to its New York City staff. The associate will assist the partners in all aspects of the investment life cycle, which include preparing investments memos, financial modeling, industry research, company due diligence and portfolio management. Candidates should have at least two years of M&A, private equity, mezzanine or leveraged finance transaction experience.

Credit Suisse Group is seeking an associate for its private equity group. Job responsibilities include working with the due diligence team to evaluate prospective fundraising opportunities and providing advice to clients regarding fundraising strategy, sequencing, structuring, timing and investors. The hire will also have daily client interaction with senior private equity firm executives across a global client base. The job is in New York City.
