Houlihan Lokey is recruiting for an associate or vice president of financial advisory services. Responsibilities include supporting the FAS engagements in healthcare industry sectors and supporting FAS portfolio valuation teams, which provide valuations of illiquid debt and equity securities held by hedge funds, private equity funds and business development companies in connection with fair value reporting of the funds assets to investors. Millstein & Co. is seeking to add a private equity associate to its New York City staff. The hire will evaluate and execute on middle-market private equity investments and assist in management of the firm’s portfolio companies. Duties include sourcing and reviewing fund investment opportunities as well as participating in the due diligence and investment approval process, legal negotiation and closing. Mill Road Capital Management is interviewing for an investor relations associates/chief of staff to join its office in the Greater New York City area. The hire will coordinate interaction with current investors on all levels, which include annual meetings, day-to-day emails and phone calls; prepare marketing presentations and investor communications; and facilitate requests for information. Also, he or she will schedule and track meetings, as well as manage CRM and provide support to the company’s founder/CEO.

Alpinvest Partners, Carlyle‘s private equity fund of funds, is seeking a summer 2016 associate for its co-investments team. Duties include participation in due diligence teams and responsibility for financial modeling, preparation of due diligence requests and investment proposals, monitoring performance of investments and conducting research on investment and industry landscape. Candidates should be trained analysts/associates with a minimum of two years’ experience in an investment bank, private equity firm or similar setting. Blackstone is looking to hire an investment operations analyst. Basic knowledge of markets and prior work experience at a financial services firm are highly preferred. The job is in New York.
