Jobs of the Week: Crescent Capital, Revolution Capital and CPPIB Seeking Associates

This week there are associate vacancies up for grabs within the venture, mid-market, mezzanine and pension fund arenas.

On the venture side, Breakaway Innovation Group is seeking a senior associate based in the greater Boston area. The Breakaway Ventures senior associate will be part of a growing team that invests in early stage, high-growth, consumer-facing companies. Moving towards the mid-market, Revolution Capital Group is recruiting for a private equity associate based in Tampa, Fl. If mezzanine is your bag, Crescent Capital Group is seeking to add full time associates to its Crescent Mezzanine (fka TCW/Crescent Mezzanine) team in Los Angeles. Finally, the $172.6 billion Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) is seeking an associate for its private investment department. Reporting to the vice president – head of private debt, the associate will play a key role in making and managing private debt investments.

The state pension fund is also hiring for a principal within its private investment department. The principal will play a leadership role in making private equity investments in the natural resources industries, primarily oil and gas, both within Canada and internationally.
