Jon Westberg has joined Lake Capital as a vice president of leveraged finance. He previously worked in the syndicated and leveraged finance division of J.P. Morgan.
Lake Capital, a private equity firm managing more than $1.3 billion in equity commitments, announced today that Jon Westberg has joined the firm as a vice president of leveraged finance.
Most recently, Westberg served in the syndicated and leveraged finance division at J.P. Morgan where he was a key member of deal teams responsible for originating and structuring multi-lender debt financings on behalf of corporate issuers with deal sizes ranging from $50 million to over $3 billion. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Westberg served as a banking analyst with Bank One Corporation with experience in debt capital markets, commercial real estate and middle market lending.
Tony Broglio, a principal at Lake Capital, added, “Jon takes on the important role of providing credit market advice and execution to our portfolio companies and the rest of the firm. Westberg graduated with a double major in finance and management information systems from Miami University and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business
