Pantheon is announcing the transition of the leadership of its Global Private Equity Secondaries Team. Pantheon Partners Matt Jones and Rudy Scarpa are appointed Co-Heads of the team, allowing Elly Livingstone, who has led this team since 2004, to focus on fundraising and investment.
Pantheon’s Global Private Equity Secondaries Team will be led jointly from Europe and the US, reflecting the global coverage of our clients, professionals, investments and market network. The transition means that the roles of the key senior members of the team are defined and communicated to our clients in advance of future fundraising. Matt, Rudy and Elly are all members of our Secondary Investment Committee, and Elly will continue in his role as a member of our International Investment Committee.
“The private equity secondary market and Pantheon’s strong position within it continues to evolve and expand, and it is important that our team and its leadership evolves with it,” commented Pantheon’s Head of Investment, Chris Meads. “Designating joint leaders based in two of our key regional markets strongly affirms our commitment to and confidence in the growth and continued long-term success of our private equity secondaries business, while recognizing its global profile. I am delighted that Matt and Rudy have agreed to take on these new responsibilities.”
