Jump Capital has promoted Yelena Shkolnik to principal. She first joined the Chicago-based venture firm in 2015 after working at MK Capital and Dreamworks.

Yelena Shkolnik has been promoted to Principal at Chicago-based Jump Capital. In her role, Yelena leads the firm’s investment efforts in Media amongst other verticals. Her thought leadership across areas within Media including Sports Betting, Out-of-Home Advertising and the changing consumer behaviors in video/TV consumption have enabled her to identify and partner with leading entrepreneurs in those respective sectors. Yelena has led investments in companies including Tubi, Tvision, Upshow and has been involved in nearly a dozen investments while at Jump.
She joined Jump in 2015 after working at MK Capital and Dreamworks, and has MBA & Honors Economics degrees from The University of Chicago.
