Breakaway said Wednesday that Tom Jump has joined as President. Jump was previously EVP and Global Director at Leo Burnett Worldwide.

Prior to Breakaway, Jump was an Executive Vice President and Global Director at Leo Burnett Worldwide. During his tenure at Leo Burnett, he led a variety of key businesses including McDonald’s globally, and Farmhouse, the agency’s innovation practice. While leading the worldwide McDonald’s business the brand was recognized by Cannes as the Global Marketer of the Year.

Jump is an accomplished consumer marketer across a variety of categories. He has led business-building platforms for companies within the retail, media, automotive, entertainment and food & beverage industries. Additionally, in leading the innovation practice of Farmhouse he acquired new clients, and helped them define and create new products and new business models. Tom also previously held leadership roles at notable Boston advertising agencies Mullen and Hill Holliday, as well as on the corporate side with General Motors.
