Katena Products buys Sensor Medical Tech

Katena Products, a portfolio company of the Audax Group, said Tuesday it acquired Sensor Medical Technology. Financial terms weren’t announced. Maple Valley, Washington-based Sensor Medical develops and makes single-use and reusable procedure lenses used by ophthalmologists and optometrists in the U.S. and globally.


DENVILLE, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Katena Products, a leading global provider of precision ophthalmic instruments, biologics, and devices to hospitals, surgical centers, and ophthalmic and optometric offices announces the acquisition of Sensor Medical Technology (“SMT”).
Based in Maple Valley, WA, SMT specializes in the development and manufacture of high quality single-use and reusable procedure lenses used by ophthalmologists and optometrists in the U.S. and globally.
