David Keenan was named investment director at Nimbus. Most recently, Keenan was part of PwC’s corporate finance division, where he advised on private equity transactions.
Nimbus appoints Keenan as new investment director.
Private equity firm Nimbus has strengthened its senior team in the UK with the appointment of David Keenan (31) as investment director.
Keenan joins Nimbus from PwC corporate finance division where he advised as a Director on a number of significant mid-market private equity transactions across a range of sectors throughout the North and Midlands, during his four-year tenure.
Prior to this, he began his career in RBS’s Northern Team specialising in various corporate banking roles.
Nimbus has appointed Keenan in a senior investment role to use his wide-ranging experience to support growth across the North and Midlands. He will focus on sourcing and executing transactions together with assisting portfolio companies.
Chris Clegg, UK Chairman of Nimbus commented: “The appointment of David is a coup for Nimbus as he’s an extremely respected and sort after corporate financier. His appointment and the launch of our new office in Leeds is just the start of our investment in the UK.”
Nimbus recently closed Fund IV at EUR 95 million and is seeking to work with management teams and businesses across the region, embarking on transformational strategies across traditional and established sectors including industrial engineering, manufacturing, food and beverage and the service industry. Nimbus opened their new office at the prestigious One Park Row complex in Leeds earlier this month.
Keenan said: “I am joining a talented team with lots of business transformation experience, genuine European capability and strong values. With a new fund in place, Nimbus is an exciting place to be and I am looking forward to working hand in hand with great management teams, businesses and advisers in our local business communities.”
