Ken Wallace Joins Industry Ventures

Ken Wallace has joined Industry Ventures as a senior associate, focused on both secondary and direct investment opportunities. He previously worked in the private equity funds group of Bessemer Trust.

Industry Ventures, a leading secondary firm focused on acquiring venture portfolios, limited partnership interests and direct investments from institutions and individual investors, announced today that Ken Wallace has joined the company as a Senior Associate.  Wallace will support deal sourcing and due diligence efforts, evaluating both secondary and direct investment opportunities.

  

Wallace comes to Industry Ventures from Bessemer Trust, a premium wealth management firm for high net-worth individuals.  There, he most recently worked in the firm's Private Equity Funds Group, guiding its venture capital fund investment strategy and due diligence process.  Leading a team of due diligence professionals, Wallace oversaw ongoing and initial analysis of more than 200 venture capital managers.  He also managed two of Bessemer's fund of funds vehicles and was instrumental in raising the firm's 10th private equity fund of funds.  

  

Wallace initially joined Bessemer to support business development in the firm's West Coast offices, managing a pipeline of more than 7,000 prospects.  Following a move to the firm's New York City headquarters, he implemented firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives.

  

Wallace received his M.B.A. from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Haas Venture Fellow.  He earned a B.A. in economics from Wake Forest University.
