Kinderhook-backed Race Winning Brands acquires Rekluse

Race Winning Brands Inc, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries Inc, has acquired Boise, Idaho-based Rekluse, a maker of of high-performance clutches and clutch products for the powersports market. No financial terms were disclosed.


Mentor, OH – Race Winning Brands, Inc., (“Race Winning Brands”, “RWB”, or the “Company”) a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC (“Kinderhook”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rekluse, an industry leader and prominent manufacturer of high-performance clutches and clutch products for the powersports market. Rekluse represents the second add-on acquisition for Race Winning Brands and Kinderhook’s 51st automotive related transaction. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Race Winning Brands is a leading manufacturer of high-performance and racing-application focused components for the powersports and motorsports performance aftermarkets. RWB is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio and markets its products globally through a portfolio of leading brands including JE Pistons, Wiseco Performance Products, Diamond Pistons, Trend Performance, K1 Technologies and ProX Racing Parts.
