Kinzie Capital hires ex-Korean intelligence specialist Hyo Joo Lee

Kinzie Capital Partners hired Hyo Joo Lee as an analyst. Prior to Kinzie, Lee served with Republic of Korea Armed Forces Defense Security Command in Seoul as an open source intelligence specialist and sergeant.

Chicago-based private equity firm Kinzie Capital Partners LLC (Kinzie) is pleased to announce the addition of Hyo Joo Lee as Analyst. Hyo, who was among the inaugural class of interns that started at Kinzie’s inception, will provide support across the company’s investment and operational activities, including assisting with financial modeling, valuation and analysis and portfolio support.

Prior to joining Kinzie, Hyo served with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces Defense Security Command in Seoul as an Open Source Intelligence Specialist and Sergeant. He also completed internships with Morningstar, Inc. in their fixed income program and with the Nomura Securities equity sales and trading team in Seoul, South Korea. Hyo received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science where he was a Murphy Scholar.
