Kiran Rao has joined Grove Street Advisors, a PE advisory with more than $6 billion under management, as a principal. He previously was with Boston Consulting Group.

Grove Street Advisors, a leading private equity investment advisory firm with more than $6 billion under management, announced that Dr. Kiran Rao has recently joined the firm as a Principal, where he will be involved in all aspects of fund due diligence and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Grove Street Advisors, Dr. Rao was a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group, where he was a senior member of BCG’s Health Care and Corporate Development practice areas. He has experience leading strategy consulting projects and developing client relationships across three continents, having worked for significant periods in BCG’s Boston, Zurich and Mumbai offices. Kiran has led a broad range of strategic, financial, and operational projects in a variety of industries ranging from health care and financial services to consumer and industrial goods. Dr. Rao has a medical degree with a specialization in neurosurgery from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
